Regency Champions Youth Wellness Program Led by Award-Winning Educator

Through funding from Regency Assurance, Miss Verna Grante successfully established Stress Free Me, a transformative youth wellness program designed to equip young people with lifelong tools to manage stress, build confidence, and promote emotional well-being.

Motivated by her deep commitment to youth development, Miss Grante, a teacher with over 13 years of experience, designed the program to help children aged 10-16 develop healthy coping strategies in a supportive and engaging environment.

In partnership with Nevis’ Department of Youth, the Health Promotion Unit, and with support from community leaders including Tina A. Hull and Myra Romain, the program reflects Regency’s values and ongoing commitment to the United Nations Global Compact by championing community health, education, and sustainable development.

Her experience in teaching and youth engagement shaped the program’s inclusive and uplifting atmosphere. Miss Grante said that participants, “were able to ask questions, speak freely without judgment and they willingly participated, that for me was heartwarming.”
